About six months ago, I posted a journal entry saying that I was thinking of doing art again. Now that exams are over, and I have two semesters of co-op ahead of me, I've dug out my pencils from storage!

I've decided to stick to pencils and do realistic art. I'm not sure if I'll be doing anymore anime or digital art because realism is just too much fun!

Also, my personal life has changed very much since I was last active and I will be drawing stuff that people may be uncomfortable with. Don't like it? Don't look at it. Or get yourself educated.

Besides art, I've become a regular volunteer for AIDS Vancouver for almost a year now, and I'm also the event planner for SFU's Health Science Union. My involvement in both led to a really busy past two semesters. I've also gotten active with Out on Campus, so I may become a regular volunteer there as well.

I'm still very much obsessed with musicals and videogames. I bought a DS last Christmas and it's been keeping me occupied. As far as musicals go, I just finished a long Sondheim obsession and recently got into Jason Robert Brown. I'll probably do fanart of both genres at some point.

I'm also making an idol list of people who I look up to for their crazy-ass art skills. As I'm constantly looking for ways to make my art better, I would definitely accept any more suggestions (about anything, really)
